INFORMEX®2002 is scheduled to be held at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans from February 26 to March 1, 2002.

Now in our 31^st year, we continue to offer a number of services including sales representation, consulting in various fields with specific emphasis on marketing, and most importantly, international commerce and trade information.

I. Trade Information – We have refined our skills in this area tremendously over the past year. In many instances, we can now isolate individual products even when they are imported in a basket category. This skill often allows us to better estimate the quantities and value of imported products. The competitive intelligence that can be gained in this manner can truly help you compete more effectively in these difficult times.

II. Trade Policy – We continue to be involved with both the SOCMA Trade Committee as well as serving as Vice-Chairman of the US Government’s Industrial Sector Advisory Committee for Chemicals and Allied Products. We can help you understand how trade policy, especially the new trade round, may affect your business. Please call to discuss.

III. Lobeco Products, located in Lobeco, South Carolina, regards custom manufacturing as its primary interest.

Fanwood Chemical represents Lobeco to the color industry with intermediates as well as custom manufacturing services with emphasis on caustic fusion and chloro sulfonation.

Bulk storage includes Xylene, Naphthalene, Mono Chlor Benzene, Dimethyl Sulfate, Dimethyl Amine, Ethylene Diamine, Chloro Sulfonic Acid, Ortho Nitro Chloro Benzene and a number of other common reagents.

IV. Aventis CropScience – We continue to seek new customers for N-Phenyl-alpha-Naphthylamine (PANA) and 1-Naphthol both of which are produced at Institute, West Virginia. Please let us know of your needs.

V. Sun Chemical – We continue to represent the interests of the former PCL Group, now part of Sun Chemical, in Europe, Mexico and South America. We offer 4B Acid, 2B Acid and Phthalocyanine Blue Crude. Please let us know of your needs.

VI. Synthesia – We are anxious to expand our sales of Phenyl Hydrazine and p-Chloro Benzonitrile. Petrex has assumed our responsibilities for Beta-Naphthol. Please let us have your inquiry.
