We are very pleased to bring to your attention the fact that a major company has time available in a “high rectification continuous distillation system”. Located along the Gulf Coast, the system features a carbon steel stripping tower, 3’ in diameter by 24’ high, and 3 columns described as follows:
7’
diameter by 100’ high - 304 L
7’
diameter by 130’ high - carbon steel
5’
diameter by 100’ high - carbon steel
Each of these units are serviced by a 300 pound steam reboiler, with vacuum capabilities up to 200 mm Hg.

reactions requiring the use of Methyl Isocyanate or Phosgene.
Additionally, DCP has large-scale nitration capabilities in Brazil.

IV.
Sun Chemical –
FCI is responsible for sales of 4B Acid, 2B Acid, and Phthalocyanine
Blue Crude. Each of these
materials is produced in plants located in the USA.
We are also offering a group
of Synergists now under the trade name of SunFlo®.
There are three products in this line, a Red, a Yellow, and a Blue.
These materials are very useful in the preparation of Flush Colorants and
Printing Inks. We are sure that
these same chemicals should have application in other industries. They are
excellent dispersants of non-soluble materials in both aqueous and solvent-based
systems.
V.
Fanwood Chemical owns a very large library of colorant processes.
With the tremendous migration of colorant production out of the US and EU
(REACh will likely accelerate this even more!) into the Far East, please let us
know if you are having difficulties sourcing your requirements.
Combining our plant processes library with our technical resources or
yours, may allow for the establishment of production in the USA, assuring you of
a reliable source for quality Dyes and Pigments.
VI.
We have several principals that are looking to acquire businesses
or product lines that can be “bolted on” to their existing portfolio.
Please let us know of any situation that might fit, with or without
physical assets.
VII.
Trade Information
- We have refined our skills in this area tremendously. In many instances, we can isolate individual products even if
imported into the USA or exported from the USA in a basket category.
Please let us know if we can help you better define your market or
benchmark your purchasing efficiencies.
VIII.
Temporary Duty Suspensions –
We’ve helped a number of companies file for duty suspensions.
You also need to also ask for renewals of existing duty suspensions as
they all expire on 12/31/09. The
time to file in the House has expired. It
now appears likely that the U.S. Senate will be taking action on this
legislation this year. Therefore,
it is very important that you be prepared to have additional bills ready to go
in the Senate at a moments notice.
We have experience dealing with the new rules so that we can assist your
legislator’s staff in properly completing all of the necessary paperwork so
that your bills will be acceptable to either the House Ways & Means
Committee or the Senate Finance Committee, as appropriate.
We
can also help be sure that any objections you have to bills that have been
introduced are properly recorded.
IX.
Personnel Resources –
We continue our long-term avocation of trying to help individuals seeking new
career opportunities in our industry. Our
resume file includes many very talented individuals.
No fees - ever!
